Trattoria Acquarola

While passing through Cesena, the restaurant was recommended to us by local people and it was a pleasant discovery. The location is very panoramic. It is equipped with convenient internal parking. The furniture is a little dated, but the tablecloths and napkins are made of fabric. The strengths do not only come from the courtesy and dynamism of the two women of the house who tirelessly divide their time between the dining room and the kitchen, but from the goodness of the genuine dishes which honor the local culinary tradition. The cappelletti in broth (without glutamate), the tagliatelle with sauce, the grilled chicken, the mixed grill, the side vegetables and the warm piadina are excellent. The portions are generous and the bulk red wine (13°) is also good. Prices are cheap. A shame not to have tasted other courses. If I happen to be in the area, it will be an opportunity to do so. I had heard so much about it and one Sunday evening we went with my wife, the welcome was normal, nothing special, we ordered the appetizers with cold cuts and honestly I must say they were very good, then we ordered the mutton and there they were lost, in the tray there were 6 pieces including 2 small pieces cooked at the moment and raminezza was reheated stuff that had been left there for half a day, I am a butcher and I recognize the meat when it is cooked at the moment and when not I do it for a living, the service was poor or asked halfway through dinner the wine and name were brought at the end of the meal which of course I didn't drink, the waiter was completely absent, even though the owner didn't charge me for a portion of mutton, the disappointment remained great. Too bad they have to burn like this.
